Serial Numbers for

BF Avery Model A

I have researched the serial number information through all of the manuals and salesman’s price books from the past years that I have worked in agricultural sales.  I also studied the differences of the tractors that I own and it is my opinion that the list of years along with serial number breaks and production changes are accurate as can be determined in the absence of the original factory records for these tractors…………….. Serial number is stamped on right frame rail below transmission shift lever. Engine serial number is stamped on plate on right side of crankcase.

*Note – These first 844 tractors may have been made by Cletrac in Ohio for Avery after the rights were puchased for the General and before the Avery plant was setup to produce the Model A tractors.
